What Can I Expect On This Course?

Join us to become a leader in vocational education and training, shaping the future of this dynamic and essential sector.

If you are entering this qualification you must demonstrate current VET skills and knowledge relevant to the specialisation chosen in this qualification. For example, if you intend to undertake the advanced training and assessment specialisation, it is expected that you are currently (or have recently been) training in a vocational environment such as a workplace or RTO. Some units also require the completion of level four units (usually covered in the typical TAE40116 or TAE40122 qualification), so please ask when enquiring about your enrolment.

The TAE50122 is now better than ever with the introduction of specialisations. The Advanced Training & Assessment Specialisation is a combination of practical and applicable skills suited to VET practitioners. Find out more about the specialisation here.

Delivery Methods

The program is delivered via an online coaching/mentoring method. This provides the best balance of online content, with access to your experienced TAE coach and mentor.

You are encouraged to apply your learning directly to your workplace or business for highly applicable learning outcomes and immediate benefits. Details of the method, referred to as Learn-Apply-Reflect (LAR) is contained in our launch video above.

Additionally, we encourage you to embrace our exclusive Learning Habits Framework (LHF) that depicts the five critical requirements for successful self-paced study. Ask us for more information upon enrolment.

As a Diploma-level (5) qualification, the TAE50122 prepares you for entry into higher education qualifications relating to adult education. SpecTraining can advise of Universities in which they have reciprocal arrangements if you would like to move to a higher qualification after graduating at this level.
