About Lesson

Business leadership encompasses the art of guiding an organisation towards its goals by inspiring and influencing individuals. Lewin’s leadership styles, namely autocratic, democratic, transformational and laissez-faire, illustrate diverse approaches to leadership. Autocratic leaders make decisions independently, democratic leaders involve team input, and laissez-faire leaders offer autonomy.

The key distinction between management and leadership lies in their focus: management involves planning, organising, and controlling processes, while leadership involves inspiring and motivating people. Effective leaders strike a balance between these styles, adapting to situations, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation to ensure sustainable success.
