The new text book for the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment went to print on Friday 20th May, 2016.
The new requirements for RTOs with the previous TAE10 on scope include an “external validation” of the four assessment units (below) as a minimum, to be submitted as a part of the scope ‘re-application’. SpecTraining understands that any repplication takes both time and money, so the external validation of the assessment materials will be given to those RTOs who require it and who will be using the text book for their assessments.

TAEASS502
We have upgraded the quality of the mapping in the textbook to improve the validation process itself for your internal validation.
The book should be in circulation soon – and we’ve talked to the publisher, McGraw Hill Education, to include the external validation documentation and recommendations.
