Providing advice on training and assessment needs

The final TNA report must present the organisation with clear and easy to understand information identifying the training gap (the needs), and the training required to address these needs. This is the purpose of the training plan.

Developing the training plan

A training plan included within the TNA report must include the:

  • identified training needs and the data or evidence supporting the assessment of need
  • recommended training required to bridge the identified gap
  • target groups or individuals for the training
  • training objectives.
